I was driving yesterday and I didn’t have my iPod with me, so I was listening to old fashioned terrestrial radio, and I hear what has to be the WORST Christmas song EVER, and the WORST sequel to a song ever.
Here’s the original you know and love:
Here’s the godawful sequel (with some weird footage):

This doesn’t really exists right?
Please?
However…I think the little drummer boy sucks equally as much.

I like the little drummer boy by David Bowie…but I’m an atheist so it makes Christmas songs very different to me. BTW anyone notice that the song is about monsters carjacking Santa’s sleigh? Crime.

According to Wikipedia, “Monsters’ Holiday” peaked at #30 on the Billboard chart in 1962. This week’s modern day equivalent of that is “Pop Champagne” by Jim Jones and Ron Browz. Yeah.
Even WORSE than that … the original song, “Monster Mash” hit #1 on the Billboard charts back in 1962. Really! I just assumed that songs like these existed since the dawn of time.
