Whenever one of my DAPS staffmates is down in the dumps for one reason or another, we run through your standard list of mood-adjusters. When looking to make my chums feel better, I force feed them bon-bons while watching Mystic Pizza on the couch, I bring them out to the local bar just to dance, and finally we go to the mall for some retail therapy.
The one twist that I have for this standard retail excursion is that I take control and choose my pal’s new duds. Obviously, his style wasn’t exactly getting him ahead in life anyway. Right?
