Why What You Love Sucks: xBox 360

The xBox is not as great as most people who have one try to tell you it is.

So I’ve owned an xBox 360 Elite for a week now (thank you Black Friday) and that means it time to point out some of its many flaws. Although it can do a number of other things also, I’m only going to be focusing on the unit as a video game console.

NOISE:

Every time I play a game, the entire time I play the game, the freaking dvd drive sounds like its a plane taking off.

CONTROLLER:

I realize its a power saving feature, but the wireless controller shuts off way too quickly when you set it down for a few moments. In this past week, its happened to me 5 times.

XBOX LIVE:

I’ve only been playing one game so far, so I could be wrong about this, but the xBox Live servers seem to be unstable. I’ve played less then 10 hours of multiplayer on Modern Warfare 2 and at least 6 times I’ve just been randomly disconnected in the middle of a death match.

PS. My xBox Live tag is userengel, friend me.

false advertising, I thought the Hitachi would have been the vibrator! THAT would be interesting, for the Hitachi isn't known for being quiet either.

    1. Is the noise really that big an issue? You are playing a video game, not meditating.
    2. If you are "setting it down for five minutes" in the middle of a MW2 Deathmatch game then you are silly.
    3. Most network problems on XBOX live are client (read: your) network problems. Are you using the wireless adapter? What router are you using? Have you set your Xbox to a static IP? Are there other users on your network?

If you don't like the sound download the game onto your massive hard drive, thats what its there for(plus it helps prevent overheating.

Like Chef said if you randomly dropping from games it's your connection.

And you NEVER walk away during a deathmatch!!
