I Just Watched the Trailer for the Bangladeshi Hulk, and Have Already Realized it’s Better than the Last 2 American Versions

Ed Norton’s Hulk movie was pretty awful if you ask me. Before that, the Ang Lee directed Hulk film was a flop (although I did like it, because, you know, I went in expecting an Ang Lee film.) So America is pretty much 0/2 in making Incredible Hulk movies.

Such failure invites parody, and thankfully it’s not from the Wayan’s Bros camp, it’s from Bangladesh.

Usually foreign takes on popular American Films are serious attempts at translating the ideas of the original for it’s local audience (with a significantly lower budget). Since this is being sold as a parody, I’m more inclined to watch it to laugh instead of watching it to laugh at the movie.

The premise is pretty simple; a nerd gets pants in front of the girl he likes, so he makes a potion or something that makes him turn into the Hulk. Then Bikes and Tanks crash into each other. CAN’T WAIT FOR THIS ON NETFLIX!

As you probably know by now, the only thing that makes me mildly enjoy life is a cute animal. I mean I just want to hug then and squeeze them till they die from over-love. This adorable kitten is no exception.

2012: The most disaster-y movie EVAR!!

This November,”ID4: Independence Day”/”The Day After Tomorrow” director Roland Emmerich is going to destroy the world. (It’s okay because the Mayans told him to)

Being a fan of Independence Day and hearing that John Cusack was going to be involved, I was seriously already psyched about this movie. Yesterday, my friend Elyse pointed me towards Io9’s Garrison Dean’s re-cut of the trailer..

very so often I feel a film is just being marketed poorly. This is often laziness and misdirection on their part. Occasionally it is arrogance when they think there is more to their film than is actually there. So, in my own arrogance, I try to help them along. Last year I felt “Hulk” needed some help. Today my mission is one that blends swimmingly with my own love of Disaster. Please enjoy this special holiday treat that I made just for you. Click on the youtube for a bigger version.

I think the re-cut makes the plane feel kind of like “Snakes on a Plane” but I think that’s why I like it better than the actual trailer… What do you guys think??
