It’s nice that someone is treating Katherine Heigl as a human being with feelings, while the rest of us are ripping into her.

Taco Bell’s new breakfast isn’t as revolutionary as everyone is making it out to be. They actually had a breakfast campaign that crash and burned a few years back.

These foreign remakes of American TV shows are fun but what I’d like to see is a Nigerian version of COPS.

Now a note from our resident film expert, Charlie Fischer: As you all know, I am a HUGE film fan. I eat, sleep, shit, and write about it. I love all genres, especially indies as they are some of the best, but unfortunately, not everyone always hears about them, and great work is not seen. Too make a long story short, the reason I am telling you about this is because I have a great little film that I want to get on your radar, and have you check out.
The movie is called ‘Cagney Cried’. It’s an independent film about a New York City schlub that moves to L.A to pursue his dream as an actor, but ends up in jail. It’s written by and starring Steven Randazzo. The thing that makes this project so intriguing to me, and will probably to all film fans alike, is it’s about an actor who wants to get a role to play a modern day James Cagney. Cagney is one of America’s most influential actors of all-time. One of Cagney’s most iconic films, The Public Enemy, became one of the most influential gangster movies of the period.
So all in all, he was like the all-time black and white badass, and was kind of a big deal. So, even though the core issues of the film are dealing with people wanting to become stars and following their dreams. The film is also a homage to Cagney!!! Anyways, enough of my blabbing, go check out the Kickstarter for this film for yourself, you won’t be disappointed!
Thanks!
