PROS AND CONS: MY MOVIE REVIEW: NEW MOON (SPOILERS!!)
I was one of the first few lucky people to get to a midnight screening of the Twilight Saga: New Moon.

My guilty pleasure is and always will be vampires. This includes the Twilight Saga, True Blood TV show and books, The Vampire Diaries and so on. I went to the midnight showing of The Twilight Saga: New Moon, and I couldn’t be happier with the movie. It was great adaptation of the book for all you true die hard Twilighters. Though, some things could have used a little spruce here and there if ya know what I mean. Here is a list of my pros and cons for New Moon.
PROS
1) For those of us who read the book, we know that Edward Cullen does not play a big role in this movie. He leaves her after the incident with his brother Jasper trying to kill her. After Edward leaves Bella, she realizes that every time she puts herself in danger, she can see Edward. He warns her to not do what she is about to do and go home. In the book, these are voices she hears. In the movie, we see almost like a ghostly figure of Edward every time. This is great for all you Robert Pattinson fans.
2) There are a lot of men with their shirts off! Jacob Black gets ripped for this movie. And the other werewolves are pretty good looking themselves.
3) Alice Cullen’s character is present more in this movie than the first. There is a special connection between Bella and Alice. It is portrayed on screen very poorly in Twilight the movie than it is in the actual book. This movie however, puts the connection on the big screen. Having Bella type those letters out to Alice is wonderful.
4) The motorcycle scene with Jacob and Bella, with the introduction of Edwards ‘ghost’ is portrayed really well. It’s almost like they were reading the sentences right out of the book.
5) When Alice, Bella and Edwards are inside the Volturi castle and they are about to kill Edward, Bella tells them to take her life instead. When they are surprised that she would give her life for a vampire, they go to kill her. Alice says not to bother because Bella herself will become a vampire in the future. You see a wonderful scene of Bella and Edward running through the forest like explained in the last book of the series, Breaking Dawn.
CONS
1) The beginning DRAGS!!
2) The scene when Edward explains the Volturi to Bella is completely thrown into the beginning of the movie without introduction. It’s like a scene is missing from it. First thing, Bella and Edward are at school and them BAM! They are standing in Carlisle’s office with the Volturi picture. Did you leave a scene out Summit?
3) Cameron Bright, who plays Alec in the film doesn’t speak at all. He just stands there next to his sister Jane, played by Dakota Fanning.
As you can see, I don’t have too many complaints about the movie. A+!
