Coming soon to the Xbox 360 console: Facebook, Twitter, and Last.FM Apps!
Now I don’t really care for Twitter (I personally think it a stupid invention) but apparently the masses love it. The question I have is… What business does it have on our consoles?
“Ah man, you mean I can go look at other peoples tweets and respond to them all from my console, that is just too cool! Now I won’t even have to get up to see it on my computer….” You still have to get up to see websites… LAME
I guess that’s where Facebook comes in… Okay, it’s kinda cool, but again not really. You can link your friends to their Facebook profiles, see pictures, update and check people’s status, etc….but why?
Get the Xbox app for your Facebook and it will update your status whenever your on Xbox live, why do i care what my friends are doing when I’m gaming? It’s useless crap to take up space on your hard drive.
Last.FM, I have no idea what that is and I don’t care. I have my music stored on my hard drive it takes up like no space at all and when I turn it on its super easy.
You would think that instead of making useless apps, they would fix the ones that people use, like a better and easier way to get into Netflix. UGH!
Anyways, Now some games…
Left for Dead 2 – I think it’s kind of messed up that Valve hasn’t really done anything for the first L4D, but before the year anniversary of it’s release, they’re going to release a new one this time taking place in New Orleans. This time you’ll probably have the same types of guns only now you’ll have an ax and chainsaw.
Modern Warfare 2 – I loved Modern Warfare and hated World at War I think I had COD: WaW for like a week before I has completely sick of it. Thats why I very happy about Modern Warfare 2, I’m glad they drop the Call of Duty namesake and branched out on there own.
Metal Gear Solid: Rising – Finally a Metal Gear Solid game for the 360, only there will be no Solid Snake for us, we get Raiden but it’s okay because after the last MGS game they made him look pretty badass.
Alan Wake - Now I have been waiting for this game for a long lime it one of the main reasons that I bought and Xbox 360 in the first place, now like 3 or four years later they still haven’t released it but now they’re saying soon.
Crackdown 2 – Simply put Crackdown is a better variation of GTA and Saints Row at least in my opinion

Lastfm.com is just a social network site that lets other people know what music your listening to. You download a program that records your listening history, so other people can see. It’s a cool site to learn about new music if you have an open mind. But it’s a pointless application for a console.
Not a big fan of Left For Dead so I’m not all that hyped about the sequel, but that shit is gonna make so much money.
Alan Wake looks really good so I will probably dust off my 360 when that comes out.
No doubt that Modern Warfare 2 will be good. Might pick the 360 version up, but not 100% sure yet.
I can’t wait for Metal Gear Rising, but I will end up buying the PS3 version, not like it’ll make a difference, I just prefer the console and the controller. However, I’m somewhat worried about this since Hideo Kojima isn’t directing this one. But then again, I trust he is leaving it in good hands.
Also, man, have you seen anything about the new Castlevania game? Hideo Kojima is behind that, so you KNOW it’s gonna be good. Mark my words, it will be the best Castlevania since Symphony of the Night.

Casltevania looks pretty cool, but modern warfare is gonna be sick InfinityWard left the call of duty franchise so it’s there special baby.
Do you have a gamertag on your 360?

Yeah, I don’t like FPS games too much but Infinity Ward does them right. Modern Warfare 1 is excellent.
Unfortunately, I do not have a gamertag yet. To be honest, I’ve only played my 360 for about 2 weeks, and switched back to the PS3. But like I said, I will probably get Modern Warfare 2 for it, and definitely getting Alan Wake. Plus, Shadow Complex and Mass Effect 2 look good, so I will probably start playing 360 a bit more in due time.
