Greetings Valtrex Users,
Today is a sad day. I was just informed that Marvel comics was raped, bukkaked and ultimately mutilated by a gay mouse and a retarded dog. I am sad, confused, violated, and just plain horny. Wait…Check out the article.
NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) — The Walt Disney Co. announced Monday that it has agreed to purchase comic book and action hero company Marvel Entertainment for about $4 billion.
If Marvel shareholders approve the deal, they would receive $30 per share in cash and 0.745 shares of Disney for each share of Marvel that they hold. The deal is valued at $50 per Marvel share, more than a 29% premium, based on Friday’s closing price.
“We believe that adding Marvel to Disney’s unique portfolio of brands provides significant opportunities for long-term growth and value creation,” said Disney Chief Executive Robert Iger, in a statement. (Via CNN Money)
I don’t know what is going to happen to some of my favorite franchises, but I’ve already heard about some new titles they are releasing.
“Hannah Montana and Iron man Save the Honkytonk”
“Spider Man 4: Goofy’s Web of Deception”
“Ghost Riders Journey to Waverly Place”
“The Suite life of Iceman and Pyro”
“X-men of the Carribean”
I can go on forever.
RIP Marvel.
This may actually save Marvel financially, but I fear the content of upcoming Marvel franchises will be negatively effected…Let’s hope not, becuase I don’t wanna kill Stan Lee.
Love always,
Sham TM “Fuck you Stan Lee” Parker

Disney is now in direct control of every summer blockbuster. It’s a n brainer. Well played Disney.

Does this mean our comics change? If yes, does that spell the end for some of the more raunchy and violent comics such as Deadpool?? I am SO out if it does, because the longtime fans of Marvel do NOT deserve this. We just don’t, regardless if it is “just business”.

Lets wait and watch whether Disney brings about any significant changes to the Marvel franchise.

This is a crock of shit. There are laws against monopolizing but apparently that has no effect on Disney’s grubby hands. Must they really dabble into every little thing? Was Marvel really in so much trouble financially that they had to sell-out the fans that put them on the map in the first place? Or in a more realistic world, was Stan Lee trying to cash out before HE cashed out (he is ancient after all). In any case, it’s all sorts of wrong. Maybe it’s true what they’re saying, the end of days are truly near :/

This is total crap. I have got terrable Mental images of Wolverine fallen to his knees, claws out, roaring in torment as his healing factor attemps to purge his system of the Disney infection flowing through his body. Most people think the big ball at Epcot Center is the Spaceship Earth ride or whatever. It’s not. It’s the prototype for something much more sinister. Disney Spheres! “We are the Disney. You will be assimilated into our collective. Your Biological and Technilogical distinctiveness will be adapted to service… us. Resistance is Futile.” This so so sucks. I think Rosaria has a point reguarding upcomming comics. Folks like Deadpool & The Punisher are in big trouble. I see Appocolypse being sumarilly defeated by A Mouse A Duck and A Dog. Oh for shame. I hope I am wrong but I fear bad things for our Marvel Heros. I’ll Bet Superman Batman and the Whole Justice League is laughing there butts off over a cold one right about now.

I really really dislike this. When I heard about it I was traumatized!!!! I mean why on earth would Marvel do this!!! I really hope Disney still let’s Marvel at least run itself like it is now, even with Disney “owning them”. I mean why would they want to do this and screw up what Marvel has been accomplishing in the past few years?! Idk what to think! URGH!!!
