You know how I know Skyrim is immensely popular? When I start seeing it EVERYWHERE online!! I have to admit that I’ve only played about 10-15 minutes of it so far, but since I cannot get away from it; I’m just going to stop being a dick and play the Goddamn game.
What I like about Skyrim is that it’s a completely open game. I can travel and do pretty much anything I want. I like that. It’s very freeing. What I still have problems with is the Fantasy aspect of it. I just can’t get into Fantasy.
Why is this world so far behind ours in technology? Can’t magic and technology co-exist? I need guns. I LOVE the Fallout series. And having a gun is just BADASS. Still, Skyrim is beautiful. Bethesda Game Studios have really outdone themselves. No matter what graphic mods I added to Fallout New Vegas, I can’t get it to look half as good as the default graphics of Skyrim.
Which leads us to this first video called “This is Skyrim“. Which shows the beauty of the wilderness in the northern province called Tamriel.
Then there’s this Skyrim map which was built using the Google Maps API. Which means it’s a Google Maps powered Skyrim Map. Does it have street view? No not yet, but who knows what the future holds?
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. Do you need some Skyrim themed cards for your mom? Here ya go my man.
