Demasculation: Aka Emo Girl Head Games

I think we are living in sociologically fast paced times. There are so many recent, and subtle, social phenomena that we see around us each day. Many have no name, and go largely unnoticed.

Welcome. This is my first blog.  I’d like to start off by saying that this is not the Degocast, and I personally apologize for any of the over the top and sometimes misogynous content that I Usually try to stay above on my podcast. Its all Emilio Spark’s Fault.

Emo Chick Headgames…
I think we are living in sociologically fast paced times. There are so many recent, and subtle, social phenomena that we see around us each day. Many have no name, and go largely unnoticed.

So Lets start with one that’s big right now…
Lets call it the “Social Dominance Disparity” effect of the Scene Subculture. More simply, Vin’s social theory of why most emo chicks are hot and naughty and why the boys who hang out with them look and act super fucking gay.

Female attraction to the Alpha Male is a hard wired evolutionary instinct in humans and in animals. So why, in a social culture like “Scene”…where the females usually engage in behaviors, and present themselves in ways that in comparable cultures, like Metal or even the action motor sports scene,…are meant to attract the most dominant males?

The answer is simple i think. Its an experiment in social control… I cant say for sure if this is a case of the cultural values being driven by the producers, or the consumers of this lifestyle. That may be a Chicken -or the -egg kind of issue. Whats more important is that it doesn’t really make sense that Females in any social scene would reward submissive behavior. Unless of course, these females realized that if feminine behavior among Males is rewarded, they can more or less have a small army of skinny little man slaves.

But I guess this isn’t so new. The same phenomena can be seen among the New York city House Music/Club scene. Metrosexuals.

I guess ill just conclude by saying, that Emo as it stands today seems to be the watered down corporatized ruins of the late 90s Post Hardcore Scene. You can wiki it, if you want to see what i mean

Without getting too graphic, Im thinking these girls are getting their rock from the betas, and their cock from the alphas, in different scenes.
