Not New: 50 Cent Speed Dating on Tyra?

With the re-launch today, I’ve spent a lot of time chillen with my laptop while my TV flickers in the background. Every once in a while something catches my attention.. for example Street Court, which happens to be pretty bananas.

Now I’m sitting here with The CW on, and i see 50 Cent (yes the rapper) speed dating two women on The Tyra Banks show.  My intial reaction is WTF?! My second reaction is to tell Carlo, who reminded me that I have a blog where this information was appropriate. My third reaction of course was to Twitpic this sight.

It was shortly after that when Carlo pointed out that this was old news. This amazing discovery was a repeat…

Ghostbusters Wiimote

This is sure to get the nerds all hot and bothered.

According to DVICE:

The cyclotron features four blue LEDs allowing you to know which player is selected or active and the Blue Power Cell actually shows you how much power the pack has. The Thrower has been carefully designed in regards to ergonomics and function. The front of the wand has an area in which you can place the Wii-mote and the back handle is where the Nunchuck is placed. Since the Wii-mote has in internal speaker in it’s ABS housing, when playing the game the pack makes all the iconic Ghostbusters SFX.

This all sounds very complex and nerd jargon-y. The bottom line is that someone out there has just gotten us one step closer to being able to play as Bill Murray and that’s good enough for me.

Would you buy a Ghostbusters Wiimote? (did I even have to ask)

Tornadoes destroy things, and are by definition Awesome. Like power of nature awesome!

Tornadoes may be nature’s most violent storms. Although they are not large like hurricanes, there are about 1,000 reported tornadoes in the US each year. A tornado is a powerful column of spinning air that reaches from a thunderstorm cloud to the ground. The strongest tornadoes can cause massive destruction and have wind speeds of 250 mph or more. The path of damage can be a mile wide or more and 50 miles long. (Via Dangerous Planet)

Being that this is a video from “The Tornado Channel“, i have to assume the high pitched voice in the video is a scientist. In his words, “That’s the hugest tornado i ever seen”

“Lazy Sunday” Live on Jimmy Fallon.

What’s “Lazy Sunday” you ask? What the fuck?!? You don’t know? What an asshole….

“Lazy Sunday“, the second SNL Digital Short, aired on the December 17, 2005 episode of Saturday Night Live. It features cast members Chris Parnell, an eight-year veteran of SNL, and Andy Samberg a first-year featured player with little previous screen time. In this music video, Parnell and Samberg perform a nerdcore hip hop song about seeing the film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Yup that’s right. There’s literally a Wikipedia article about EVERYTHING!!

AM-DJ: Hippie Chicks and Hippocrates

Whenever I hear todays AM-DJ track, I’m taken back to the moment when Preston Myers first laid eyes on Amanda Beckett.. They were both eating strawberry pop-tarts and it was the beginning of something beautiful.

The song I’m referring to in that reach of a Can’t Hardly Wait reference, is “Walking On The Sun” by Smash Mouth off of the album ‘Fush You Mang’ which is actually a really good pop-punk album, don’t believe me… go listen to it yourself.

So, take a load off and check out some 90s <33 this morning.
