Watch this Guy Shoulder Check a Girl Under the Guise of a Chest Bump and Completely Wreck her

I’m kinda up in the air about this, so instead of writing like a nerd about this video, I’ll just present my thoughts in video format.

the original source material.

My commentary:

Talking points:

  • this guy is a dick
  • this guy is kind of a pussy too
  • this is awesome and I can watch it all day
  • this guy gets 5 minutes for charging

Average DAPS Reader: Makes EPIC Expendables Reviews

Okay, last week, Craig over at the Bachelor Bible offered to write us a review of The Expendables. Obviously we said “Sure.” (No really, I would screencap the email for you, but I’m trying to just get you to believe my words.)

After some serious thoughts over how to give the review to you, as it needed some proofreading and copy editing, we decided to do more work and offer it to you, as is, in EPIC VIDEO FORMAT! (HD)

Here’s the unedited transcript:

Welcome to my Expendables Review. The movie is action packed like a typical war movie but also have a storyline to it. I wouldn’t say it the best action movie ever but the cast does make it interesting. It does have a very Stallone feeling I guess that’s because he wrote the screenplay and directed the film. Let’s talk about the cast for a minute. It’s loaded from Stallone, Statham, Li, Austin, Couture, Willis, Lundgren, Weeks, Rourke and Arnold himself. Wait What?!?! Yes Arnold himself is in. I guess they did that to bring in Arnold’s fan camp. They even make a joke about him becoming President one day, which is a great tie in to real life. Adding to the cast is also Eric Roberts from Heroes and the Charisma Carpenter.

I must the hand-to-hand combat scenes, explosion scenes, gun fighting was top notch. Li’s moves were amazing and Couture’s MMA moves were something else. I would recommend everyone to go see this movie but if you are looking for the whole cast to be in it for 103 minutes you are wrong. The film basically surrounds Stallone and Statham and then their gang follows along.

Here is my percentage breakdown of characters in the movie

Stallone 95%
Statham 95%
Li 85%
Lundgren 50%
Roberts 40%
Couture 75%
Austin 45%
Carpenter 5 minutes
Crews 40%
Rourke 35%
Schwarzenegger 5 minutes
Willis 5 minutes

All in all it was an excellent movie if you like the action packed typed movie. It left you with wanting a little bit more but I think for now it was a great movie to close out the summer. Im hearing talks of a sequel. Lets hope they dont mess it up with some b.s.actors in the next one.

Have any questions leave a comment below

In fairness, we didn’t want to bother Craig for a re-write because he was preparing for his EPIC B-DAY PARTY this Friday. You should all go and chill with us.

The Mighty Vin Show: Promo

DAPS is proud to announce the forthcoming new video series broadcast by Blip.tv and hosted on both LOLRadiohead.com and DAPS starting this June.

The Mighty Vin Show.

A catch-all music show including reviews of old albums, spotlights on cult releases, showcasing unknown bands, blah, blah, blah.

Why a music show?

1. Because I’m a music nerd.
2. Because a show where I play music video clips, talk about music, and generally play music in the background, is a hell of a lot easier to produce than an alternative.

Wait, why am I writing? I have video of me rambling (with equally rambly audio)!

Reasons To Watch Our Sidebar Videos: Inspiration!

If you frequent this little website often, you may have noticed the “video of the moment” which lives on our sidebar on all pages of the site. These videos are usually hilariously weird youtube clips that don’t really fit into a post, but we still fell are worthy of DAPS loves.

As of today (4/30/10) we’re featuring a silly little Snickers commercial from the late nineties featuring a panda loving sociopath who is unintentionally (?) starving his co-workers.

While watching the video, all of a sudden The Loberman had an epiphany, that epiphany is posted below:

Apparently There is a Huge Market for Fake Abs on YouTube…

Prompted by a URLesque piece on the topic, I looked into the world of How-To videos. Specifically, how to fake your abs.

These Tuts (‘toots’ as the cool dudes call ‘em) are geared towards chicks who aren’t fat, but are still self-conscious enough to need to paint their bellies with makeup. Watch:

If you really feel the need to be that shallow of a human, I won’t stop you. But I think that guys suffer from the same vulnerability. Especially when bombarded with images of muscles dudes and Situation. what kind of messages about body image should I be looking at?

Anyway, here’s my tut: “How to Fake Killer Abs for Guys”.
(BTW: I used KRINK Markers for this tutorial. Check ‘em out!)

Presenting Chatroullete Users w/ Themselves

Last week I decided to play a little Chatroullete joke of my own. I downloaded ManyCam and set it up to capture the screen of the person I would be Chatroulleting with. So my “partners” would end up seeing themselves in my video feed.

Now I expected people to get freaked out or surprised, which happened. I also saw 30 penises in 2 hours (which I had to edit out for SFW consumption). While I was editing it, I didn’t have my external hard drive leaving me with only the score to Twin Peaks. That ended up shaping much of the tone of the vid. The results are pretty interesting (and surprising at points).

Video after the jump.

EmilioSparks.com – Ski Beatz, Iron Man 2 trailer, Ronald McDonald and More!

If you haven’t been keeping up with EmilioSparks.com, shame on your soul. Emilio’s been pumping out interesting content for you, the little man.  Like what? He’s got Robot Chicken’s new He-Man parody, The amazing new Iron Man trailer, and a couple of new interviews.. Check it!

and finally our boy had an excellent in studio interview with uber-hip=hop producer Ski Beatz. If you know anything about hip-hop you understand just how important this is…

Ski formed a partnership with Darrien Dash, cousin of Damon Dash. Together, they co-founded “Roc-A-Blok” productions, as a sister company to the then fledgling, Roc-A-Fella Records. Ski contributed four tracks to Jay-Z’s debut album, Reasonable Doubt. These included the hits “Dead Presidents,” “22 Two’s”, “Politics as Usual,” and “Feelin’ It.” (via Wikipedia)

An Emilio Sparks Interview 2 Years In The Making..

I normally don’t post every interview Emilio does on DAPS because he pretty much produces more content than the rest of us combined. That being said, I’ve been in touch with this particular artists’ management pretty much since the day that we started working the internet.

After being passed some music of Beyond Belief in Early 2007, we’ve emailed, texted, facebook messaged, and communicating any other way we could. It wasn’t until this past December when Emilio was able to sit down with BOB and his producer Kwamé in the WSIA studios for his Emilio Sparks Experience. (Tuesday Nights, 11pm WSIA.fm)

Without Further adieu… here’s Emilio Sparks interviewing Beyond Belief and Kwamé

Check out BOB on MySpace here.

oh, and download Beyond Belief’s Mix-tape “Bigger Checks F/Red Dawn” on datpiff.

Davecast #10: How you can become a Superhero…

Wowzer! It has been 5 months, and the Davecast is still going strong. I am as shocked as the rest you faithful interwebbers.

What does it take to become a Superhero? The most common answer is exposure to radioactive materials. Well that is plain wrong. The correct answer, as with much of life’s problems, is drugs.

Christopher Reeve is dead. Has been for 5 years now. Oh yeah, this is his death anniversary (deathiversary?). I’m better than Superman because I’m alive and still have my powers and they aren’t lame like his “breath through a tube” or “talk real slow” abilities. Well anyhoo, let’s jump right to it. Enjoy…
