Feathertail Gliders are some of the tiniest mammals around, and they are the smallest gliding mammal. That’s right folks, these little buggers can glide up to 20 meters thanks to a membrane on their arms and legs, as well as a (GET THIS) a feathered tail which acts as a rudder.
The little guy above is very young, but has already outgrown it’s mothers pouch (they have pouches too!). Below is a video of a full grown Feathertail Glider, so you can see them in action. Warning, they are very cute, and you might choke on your lunch if you squee too hard (mother fuckers wanna fine me).
