Loneliness is a killer. As living beings, we are dependent on the interconnected nature of reality. Be us a socially powerful human, or a lowly slug, we all depend on a system to maintain both our mental and physical well being. When something feels lonely, it feels removed from that system and begins to degrade rapidly, whether or not the isolation is actual or perceived.
This cat, named LittleBig, is a perfect example of a creature that is suffering from isolation. It’s seems to be trapped in a laundry room, desperate for interaction. So desperate in fact, it performs an amazing feat to gain any attention that might come it’s way.
While this act may seem cute, it’s a symptom of a much larger, and debilitating issue. LittleBig’s owners, according to the description found on the video’s YouTube page, reveal this issue.

Assuming the best, that LittleBig is an indoor/outdoor cat, DrinkPissAndLive’s family has never devised a way to give LittleBig easy re-entry into the home. How many hours has LittleBig been stuck outside of his home, desperately needing food, a drink of water, or even use of the litterbox? This is all deeply disturbing.
