Average DAPS Reader: Has Visited DAPS Over 1 Million Times - We were looking at our numbers yesterday and we realized that we've had over 1,000,000 pageviews for a little while now. So needless to say, we are pretty fucking stoked brah.

… and we didn’t even realize it.

Chris and I were looking at our numbers yesterday and we realized that we’ve had over 1,000,000 pageviews for a little while now. So needless to say, we are pretty fucking stoked brah.

But seriously, for the ‘little blog that could’ earning over a million pageviews in just over 3 years is a huge accomplishment, and we obviously had some help. We are, for lack of a better word, blessed to be supported by an incredible home base, mostly made up of friends who have created content for the site, friends who are just plain alcoholics, and friends who see the hard work we put into this site and think it’s ‘neat’.

We are also really, really lucky to have an audience full of people whom we’ve never met (Twitter doesn’t count as ‘meeting’, though we don’t discount the interaction). And these people are insane. They come to this semi-entertaining website that aggregates the aggregate sites, and enjoys the perverse, and retarded lens we look at the world through. And for some reason, they keep coming back. (WE KNOW WHO YOU ARE!)

But we really need to thank one special group of people. A group of people you wont see championed on any other site. We’re talking about our Google click-throughs. If it wasn’t for you demented perverts searching for “dog sex” or “pony rape”, we’d still have like a quarter million page views to go. So, thank you.

Okay, for realsies now, (I seriously just saw that “realsies” was spelled wrong and tried to spell check it. TOO MUCH THERAFLU.) You guys are fucking awesome, and you make our insane effort worth it. So tell your friends, tell your mom, tell your bookie to visit, so we can hit 2 million before the world is consumed by cyborg-zombies controlled by FEMA (in 2012).
