I can understand him wanting to take his time and pick the team that will pay him more, but to take an hour long prime time block on ESPN to announce it is pretty much the most attention whoring, self-aggrandizing, egotistical thing I’ve ever heard of.
Here you have a talented basketball player, who is young and hungry, but hasn’t done anything of real note with the Cavs. Granted they suck, but “King” James should have at least put the team into contention, he didn’t.
The Knicks and Heat are the top contenders to scoop him up, and the Knicks have the room in their budget to afford him, especially after Miami made two huge acquisitions yesterday.
